I was really surprised by Iamshaman's service quality. The shop takes its business seriously and takes great care of its customers. I received my products two to three days only after I placed my ordered. Also I have received update e-mails about the merchandise at each step of the shipping process (oder confirmation, shipping...). I'm really satisfied with them. The products are quality products, sold at unbeatable prices. It's really important to me that shops like that take that business seriously, especially when herbal therapy is rising where as pharmaceuticals are losing credit to customers' eyes. They also have great affiliate programs, including saving the rainforest and giving help to indigenous cultures depending on it, notably through farming. This store is outstanding. You can tell that customer satisfaction is the #1 goal over there. The site itself is well-designed, easy to navigate, up-to-date and full of useful information. You can tell a lot about a store by their website, which in this case can only be regarded as professional. The products themselves are quality. IAmShaman is one of those rare online places that actually goes out of its way to provide people with excellent quality, when they just as easily could settle for average or inferior-grade products, as so many other ethnobotanical stores do. I have ordered hundreds of dollars of merchandise (including salvia leaf and exract, as well as books, etc.) I usually receive my orders within 3 days after placing the order ....very fast!!! They also come discretely packaged, which is a plus. I usually don't fill out things like this, but with the excellent customer service, I felt as if I had to!!! Also, I received some salvia extract in plastic baggies instead of the usual glass vials. I e-mailed the shopkeeper and requested glass vials next time. I got a reply that same day appoligizing, explaining the situation, and I was told that I could ask for EXTRA vials on my next order! Free vials! Now that's customer service!!!!

What can I say about IAmShaman? It's a nice site (tho' I wish they used 100% W3C standards-compliant code, i.e., no Micro$oft "extensions" that screw stuff up in safer-- read "non-Internet Explorer" browsers) and a very good selection of high-quality products. But what sets IAmShaman apart is its unbelievably good customer service. Despite feeling the weight of nearly-overwhelming order volume, like so many ethnobotanical sites are these days, IAmShaman still manages to achieve same-day shipping. It also has the most responsive customer service I've ever seen in an ethnobotanical shop. E-mails are answered on the same day, and every time I've called, a person has answered the phone (I can't say that about ANY other ethnobotanical shop) and has been able to answer all of my questions completely. The people who have answered the phone are not just knowledgeable; they are also pleasant and polite (despite being insanely busy).
